I create my works using thousands of glass beads of the smallest sizes by placing each bead on a board or found objects with a slow-setting strong adhesive glue that bridges tradition and contemporary aesthetics in representational form. I am Inspired by the Yoruba culture and African proverbs allowing me to express my inner feelings and capture the essence of my artistic vision on a critical view of social, experiences of migration and cultural issues.
My background is rooted in recycled art, where I transformed discarded materials from my environment into treasured creations, I used to pick cookie bags, bottle covered and junk some years ago and cut them into pieces to create artwork after exploring recycled art I began to experiment with tree bark from a log of wood. This journey led me to discover beads as a medium to tell my stories on how you can start from nothing to something meaningful. I see my works as a power of imagination that encourages viewers to tap into their true selves, transcending existing boundaries.
